I acknowledge that my youngster/ward (herein known as “Participant”) shall be hosted by Conference Services at San José State University (herein known as “University”) as part of the iD Tech Program (herein referred to as “Group”). The terms of this Release are contractual and not a mere recital. Further, this Release shall be permanently binding upon the undersigned, his/her agents, successors, third events, and authorized representatives. The undersigned acknowledges that by signing this Release, he/she has read and understands this Release, that he/she has signed this Release of his/her own free will and never underneath duress or coercion, and that he/she has the authority to execute this Release. This provision applies to any and all packages, amenities and activities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
All certificates/vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Certificates/vouchers have to be redeemed on the time of registration.
I settle for full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred because of these actions. The camp is neither sponsored, managed, nor supervised by Davidson College, but rather is under the only real sponsorship and supervision of the camp owner, iD Tech Camps.
I acknowledge that the Releasees don’t assume responsibility for or liability for – including costs and attorney’s charges – any accident or harm or harm ensuing from any aspect of participation within the Activity. The Releasees are not liable for any particular, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with any facet of participation in the Activity.
This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with, and ruled by, the legal guidelines of the State of California. The venue for any action arising out of this Agreement shall be the County of Santa Clara, State of California. The parties comply with submit to jurisdiction within the State Courts, Santa Clara County, California. It is understood and agreed that, if any provision of this Agreement or the application thereof is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect different provisions or applications of this Agreement which could be given impact without the invalid provisions or functions. To this finish, the provisions of this Agreement are declared severable.
Participant agrees to be solely responsible for payment in full of all prices of medical or emergency care she/he could receive. Participant attests that she/he is physically and mentally able to participating and has no identified well being or different restrictions that might jeopardize her/his security or well being or the safety or health of others throughout their participation in the Event. Participant offers permission for Stanford or its representative to provide immediate and affordable emergency care ought to it’s required. Participant agrees to hold innocent and indemnify Stanford from any claims, causes of action, damages and/or liabilities, arising out of or ensuing from stated medical remedy or emergency care.
I characterize and warrant that I actually have the full right, power and authority to enter into and execute this Release and to grant all rights granted under it. This Agreement shall be ruled by, construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. This authorization is given in advance of any required care to empower a representative or different official of Caltech or iD Tech Camp to provide consent for such therapy as the doctor could deem advisable. This authorization is effective unless revoked in writing.
